Creation of workshop for kids 6-12 years old, made pinch pot projects and taught how to use underglaze. Fired the work and preparing clay for the kids.

2023 Panelist, National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts, Cincinnati, OH
For this panel, a group of presenters and I organized a panel to discuss diversity, accessibility, and opportunity for emerging artists of color. An article was created to further explain our narrative was published through NCECA.
2022 Residency, Watershed, Newcastle, ME
A residency designed to meet participates of the mentorship program provided by the Color Network funded by the National Endowment of the Arts.
2019 Volunteering, Women’s Studio Workshop, Rosedale, NY
· While volunteering I specifically had acquired the skills to help with kiln maintenance and other studio responsibilities toward the annual Chili Bowl Fiesta Fundraiser. I helped mixed necessary glazes to get through the season, created production work, glazed unfinished work, work with silk screen transfers on work, and collected the total number of bowls for the chili bowl event. Recently, I participated in helping during the event by serving food and helping people to navigate through the fundraiser. I have volunteered over 200 hours and continue to do so.
2018 Private Lessons, Women’s Studio Workshop, Rosendale, NY
· I taught private lessons to a student at WSW who was interested in combining silk screening techniques with ceramics. I went through the steps on how to coat a screen with photo emulsion, how to prepare the images onto transparent paper, how to expose the images with UV light and how to creates ceramic silk screen ink.
Commission Work for a Local Artist, Accord, NY
· A local artist, Thomas Albrecht had commissioned a set of non-fired pseudo rocks made from clay for a performance piece he was conducting. By using dry materials and textures I had created 30 pseudo rocks.
2016 Wood Fire Shifts, SUNY New Paltz, New Paltz, NY
· During each semester there were at least two to three Anagama firings that required 24-hour attention which many of us in the department took part in. I especially enjoyed the overnight stoking of the flames. From this experience I have the necessary skills to assist in wood firings.
Open Studios, SUNY New Paltz, New Paltz, NY
· Each semester, the different disciplines hold an open studio night. Where the other majors and the rest of the campus community was invited to view the work that was being made in the major’s individual studios. During open studios for the ceramic department I had taken part in arranging with the Student Art Alliance on campus to coordinate the budget and advertising for the event.
